eSIM QR or triple-cut plastic
Same Orange packs, two formats. eSIM: QR emailed after ID verification — see eSIM Tenerife. Physical: nano/micro/standard trio card at the counter; holder in person with the original document; held 48 hours; no shipping.
If you compare airport plastic or app eSIMs (Airalo, Holafly), weigh a Spanish Orange prepaid number and counter support against instant in-app data. Honest split: apps win before landing; Local 4 wins when you want these published GB tiers and a person in San Eugenio. Airport context: Tenerife airport SIM card.
ID check and order windows
Spanish law: passport, DNI or NIE before any prepaid Orange SIM or eSIM is activated. We copy the document and record holder data (name, nationality, document type and number). Mismatch, expiry or refusal → no line. Physical collection needs the same original at Local 4. Terms: /terms.
Online SIM orders (Europe/London): Mon–Sat 10:45–21:00, Sun 10:45–13:30. Shop: Mon–Sat 10:45–21:30, Sun 10:45–14:00. Outside checkout hours, visit Local 4 or call 922 71 35 82. Costa Adeje walk-in guide: tourist SIM & eSIM Costa Adeje.
EU roaming on Orange tourist packs
EU roaming is included. Allowances printed on the product cards are 18GB (Tourist 100), 32GB (Tourist 250) and 35GB (Tourist 300). That covers typical mainland Spain / EU side trips within validity. Roaming is not unlimited just because island data is large — watch the roaming cap if you leave the Canaries for long.
After local data is used up, Tourist 300 continues at 2 Mbps per the card; other packs follow operator policy shown at sale. Buy: /shop.
