Power it off if you still can, and bring it in. We open it, flush contamination, and run an ultrasonic clean when the board needs it.

Calima dust is the other local problem. Fine Sahara mineral powder works into speakers, mics and ports. On laptops it cooks fans; on iPhones it mostly shows as muffled audio and flaky buttons. We clean what we can reach without guesswork.

When a charge IC, display line or backlight circuit has failed, we use micro-soldering under the stereo microscope rather than jumping straight to a full board swap. Not every board is recoverable. We say so after inspection, with data recovery as the priority if the phone will not boot.
